It's that time of year in Sarasota where it is hot, hotter and very hot!
Summer is here in full force. Maybe God will Bless us with a little rain.
It's been a Blessing each Sunday to hear from our Pastors and Preachers that share their talents with us on Sunday Mornings. Along with talented musicians that accompany them to help us make a joyful noise to the Lord.
There will continue to be Bible Bits at 10 am thru the summer due to the kindness of Deacon Don and Wm LaGasse when they are available. When they are not, it will be a nice time to enjoy a cup of coffee and get to know each other, and make new friends.
If you have any books that are looking for a new home, the TR Library is always a place to donate them.
May your old cell phone be a Blessing to women in need. At SPARCC the phones are reconfigured to dial 911.
Back To School will be here before we know it. Sunday, August 9 is SOCK SUNDAY. Everyone loves to go to school with new socks.
Guardian Angels of Southwest FL is located in Palmetto and supports children at their Manasota Campus and is part of One More Child. Pastor Tim Boyd is the Director and said it would be a Blessing to the children to receive new socks (assorted sizes) for the start of the school year.
There will be a box in the church foyer for donations Sundays July 12 through August 9, when Pastor Tim will take them with him.

It has been an exciting time at TRBC. We are Blessed with wonderful Pastors, educators & speakers. We have made many new friends along the way.
Bill and Roleta Meredith have been leading the Sunday Morning Bible Bits at 10 am. Please join for coffee and fellowship before the 11 am service. A Big Thank You and safe travels as they go to Ohio for the summer months. It's possible we will be Blessed with another great teacher until they return.
Thank you to Sandra Paterniti has organized the library and now it is so easy to find the book you might be looking for. If you have books at home that you no longer read, the library could give them a new home.
A Big Thanks to Richard, Karen Frost & Friends for hosting TRBC 1st Fish Fry. All those in attendance were treated to great food and fellowship.
Special Events:
Sunday April 26, Paul Helton will be our Pastor. Also joining will be Mike Swartz along with Mike Schultz of the Gideons International with a brief introduction about the Gideons and Testimony. These men are responsible for the Bibles that are in the hotel rooms around the world. A Love Offering will be taken to purchase more Bibles for distribution.
Sunday May 10, Mother Day, Deacon Don Lander will be preaching, and his lovely wife and children are a Blessing as they make the music very special. Mrs. Lander & Family are a Blessing to the congregation by providing a light lunch after the service in honor of Mother’s Day. Please RSVP if you can.
May, 31 Wm. LaGasse will join us in the pulpit for the first time. Wm has preached at numerous churches in Sarasota. Come join us for his sermon. We can hear more about his recent mission trip to Peru in the coming weeks.
